About Abruzzo (2).png

Only two hours east of Rome, Abruzzo is an undiscovered destination for intrepid explorers who wish to TRAVEL DEEPER and go beyond Italy’s well-trodden tourist paths. Abruzzo is known for national parks of rugged, untamed beauty, and stretches from “la terra di mare e monti” -- where you can travel from the pristine shores of the Adriatic to the mountains in an hour’s time. As the untrammeled last frontier of Italy, you can hike through mountains and valleys of staggering beauty only to stumble upon medieval villages and hidden hermitages carved into stone.

About Castello (1).png

Your home for the week is the elegant Castello di Semivicoli, a restored castle owned by Masciarelli, one of Abruzzo’s most lauded wine-growing families. Nestled amongst grounds of olive trees, vineyards and laurel hedges, Semivicoli is a jewel-box, marrying refined rustic-chic country living with every modern amenity, including a fitness center. Start your day with a steaming cappuccino and a slab of buttery crostata filled with apricot jam made with fruit from the Castello’s own trees. Explore the stunning grounds and neighboring village on foot or with complimentary bikes, or unkink your knots with a personal yoga or training session. Shutterbugs and Instagrammers take note: there’s Wi-Fi and endlessly inspiring views of the surrounding mountains and countryside.

Your Week

Day One

BENVENUTE! We whisk you from Rome to scenic, unspoiled  Abruzzo. Settle into castle life (it won’t take long!), unwind with a welcome dinner, vintage wines and new friends - the perfect pairing.

Day Two

VISION + VIEWS. Wake to arresting views from a hilltop castle, spend the morning charting your vision for your career and life. Drink revelatory wines. Walk the coast. Watch the sun dip below the Adriatic.  Marvel at your postcard-perfect day over a seafood feast you will remember forever.

Day Three

PERSONAL BRANDING WORKSHOP + COOKING CLASS. Double dose of espresso please! You have a day of creating ahead. A morning workshop crafting a powerful professional story. And an afternoon mastering the secrets of the Italian kitchen. (And did we mention lunch in the prettiest village in Italy?)

Day Four

EXPLORE + ASK MORE. Take it all in today --  the cobbled medieval villages, frescoed chapels, and jaw-dropping views from Italy’s highest ancient fortress. Lunch at a charming, family-owned spot specializing in saffron dishes. Dinner brings you to the under-the-radar trattoria every local knows and loves.

Day Five

CONNECT + CONVERSATIONS. Your morning your way -- sleep in, work out,  a leisurely breakfast -- then a late morning communications workshop, afternoon excursion to an olive oil mill, and evening cocktail party with Italian women artisans and entrepreneurs at the castle.

Day Six

PARKS + RECREATION. Travel  deep into the staggering, sumptuous beauty of the Majella National Park. Fairy-tale hermitages, sweeping river valley vistas and a five-star spa beckon - which will you choose for your afternoon?

Day Seven

ARRIVEDERCI AMICHE. One last buttery crosata...after breakfast our driver returns you to Rome. The trip ends, but you are just getting started. We can’t wait to hear where your revved up mojo and new personal branding tools will take you….
